Don't worry about the economy, we don't need it

Don't worry about the economy, we don't need it

"The writer, when he is also an artist, is someone who admits what others don't dare reveal."
-- Elia Kazan

Don't worry about the economy, we don't need it. A statement that is at once bold, brave and easily dismissed as foolish, but it's a sentence that encapsulates as succinctly as possible something that desperately needs saying.
"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes her laws."

-- Mayer Amschel Rothschild (1744 -1812)
Godfather of the Rothschild Banking Cartel
in 'The Creature from Jekyll Island', p. 218
Most of us, most of the time, have no need or want whatsoever for the financial economy that exists today; that is - a systemic legacy of historical ownership, control and operation. In fact, if anything, the financial economy is a shackle and a hindrance to more people, more of the time, than it is of any tangible benefit. Which is just as it has been intended by that class of people who champion their private property, profit and capital over the interests of the very people that wittingly or unwittingly facilitate their privilege. But still, don't worry about the economy, we don't need it.

What we do need however is a coherent way of understanding the essential nature of the permanent crisis of Capitalism and its economy, complete with an understanding of how the murderous U-SUK alliance Imperialism we see in the Middle-East and elsewhere is Capitalism in its most barbarous form. We need a correct understanding to ensure that this is the last ever crisis of Capitalism that anyone has to endure and, equally as crucially, to collectively plan, organise and establish new ways for how 6 billion-and-counting human beings go about co-existing with each other on the blue-green planet that hosts us.

An accurate and insightful understanding of what the system of Capitalism under which we live is, how it operates, and what the function of the State is inside the system of Capitalist operation, would include an understanding of how the State has established and maintained for itself a monopoly on the 'legitimate' use of violence against everything, which it deploys via bodies of armed men in defence of the minority interests of private property, capital, capitalists and capitalism. Private property is theft from and an affront to the rest of humanity and the capital is a historical, fictional legacy controlled by a handful people who manage the fiction to best suit the needs of themselves and their class; it is these things that the State, for all its pretence otherwise, exists to protect. Which, in the 21st century information age, is a somewhat backward and regressive basis for anything and this is the crux of the issue: the State's role as actor and enforcer in defence of private property and private capital, while keeping empty a million houses from those with no homes or health, and families unable to feed, clothe and educate their children, because 4 million people live under institutionalised and enforced poverty.
"The state, then, has not existed from all eternity. There have been societies that did without it, that had no idea of the state and state power. At a certain stage of economic development, which was necessarily bound up with the split of society into classes, the state became a necessity owing to this split. We are now rapidly approaching a stage in the development of production at which the existence of these classes not only will have ceased to be a necessity, but will become a positive hindrance to production. They will fall as inevitably as they arose at an earlier stage. Along with them the state will inevitably fall. Society, which will reorganise production on the basis of a free and equal association of the producers, will put the whole machinery of state where it will then belong: into the museum of antiquities, by the side of the spinning wheel and the bronze axe."

-- Friedrich Engels
from "The Origin of Family, Private Property and State" (1884)
Thankfully, outside the bounds of the public school theatrics of parliamentary politics and debate and mostly also outside of the bounds of mainstream media debate (with one or two notable exceptions like the discussion on Newsnight by middle-class pundits of impending "class warfare") people are beginning to explore what lies at the core of the system that enforces certain material conditions of existence. Better yet, they are beginning to explore solutions.

The State and Revolution, by Vladimir Il'ich Lenin

Since the snappily titled credit-crunch and the despotic actions of States around the world to sustain at any cost to workers the banking infrastructure and the workings of the financial markets of Capitalism the statement, "Don't worry about the economy, we don't need it" rings more true now than at any time before in history. And, while it is possible that some might label the statement "Don't worry about the economy, we don't need it" as the wild imaginings and inventions of an idiot, a 'conspiracy theorist', an Anarchist or a Marxist, or any other ad hominem 'insult' du jour -- as undoubtedly some will loudly decry it, and good luck to them all for their time is nearly up - the closing words of this article are given to a man of mental faculty, standing and repute beyond reproach:
Private capital tends to become concentrated in few hands, partly because of competition among the capitalists, and partly because technological development and the increasing division of labor encourage the formation of larger units of production at the expense of smaller ones. The result of these developments is an oligarchy of private capital the enormous power of which cannot be effectively checked even by a democratically organized political society. This is true since the members of legislative bodies are selected by political parties, largely financed or otherwise influenced by private capitalists who, for all practical purposes, separate the electorate from the legislature. The consequence is that the representatives of the people do not in fact sufficiently protect the interests of the underprivileged sections of the population. Moreover, under existing conditions, private capitalists inevitably control, directly or indirectly, the main sources of information (press, radio, education). It is thus extremely difficult, and indeed in most cases quite impossible, for the individual citizen to come to objective conclusions and to make intelligent use of his political rights.

7/7-Transport for London

Transport for London
Update: 14:25 - 7 July2005
Latest information confirms that there were four incidents on London's transport network this morning, three on London Underground and one on London Buses.
At 09:46 the London Underground was suspended and all stations commenced evacuation following incidents at:
* Aldgate station heading towards Liverpool Street station on the Hammersmith & City line;
* Russell Square station heading towards Kings Cross station on the Piccadilly line;
* Edgware Road station heading towards Paddington station on the Hammersmith & City line
9.46am when the London Underground was suspended!
That's four minutes short of an hour after the 'official' 8.50am simultaneous explosions on the Underground and at almost PRECISELY the same time as this Number 30 bus rolled into and exploded in Tavistock square leave a number of unanswered questions - antagonise

they've changed the story so many times...
Documents found on/near suspects
is that before or after they swabbed for DNA of the victims?
Authorities initially thought Hussain might have been a victim of the attacks and sent family liaison officers to meet his parents, who had believed he was planning a day in London with his friends. Police likely obtained photos and other identifying details to help track the teen, pictures that later matched the closed-circuit TV images.
Police reportedly found Hussain's driver's licence and bank card in the wreckage of the No. 30 bus that blew up at 9:47 a.m. in Tavistock Square, almost two kilometres from King's Cross.
Some believe he may have intended to set off his bomb on the Northern Line, which also passes through the station, but hit a bus instead because a technical problem had disrupted trains on the line earlier that morning.
Documents belonging to two of the other suspects were found at two of the subway scenes, police said. Those suspects were identified in the media as Shahzad Tanweer, 22, described as a cricket fan; and Mohammed Sidique Khan, 30, a new father.
The third subway bombing site, a Piccadilly Line train deep beneath London's streets, is more severely damaged and harder to reach, and searchers have not yet linked anything found there to the fourth bomber. Britain's Press Association news agency, citing police sources, said police have identified the fourth suspect but did not report a name.

NO STANDING ON THE TOP DECK PLEASE!
check this witness statement,

Mr Jones said he saw a man in an agitated state on the bus
Passenger believes he saw bomber A bus passenger says he may have seen one of those responsible for the bomb attacks in London.
Richard Jones, from Binfield, near Bracknell, Berks, had got off a bus just before it was blown up in Tavistock Square on Thursday.
Mr Jones, 61, an IT consultant, has told BBC News he saw a man acting suspiciously on the bus.

He said the man was fiddling with something in his bag and seemed in an agitated state.
Everybody is standing face-to-face and this guy kept dipping into this bag
Mr Jones, who was forced to take the bus from Euston after Tube services were suspended, said: "He was standing next to me with a bag at his feet and he kept dipping into this bag and fiddling about with something.
"I was getting quite annoyed with this because it was a crowded bus.
"Everybody is standing face-to-face and this guy kept dipping into this bag."
Mr Jones, who said he got off the bus because it was in heavy traffic, has given a statement to police.
Police have yet been unable to establish whether a suicide bomber was responsible for the attack on the bus.
Police have said thirteen people were killed on the bus. - news.bbc.co.uk

the so called bomber was fiddling with his bag......
he doesnt say if they were upstairs or downstairs......
on the top deck of buses passengers are not allowed to stand, only downstairs is that allowed. If the driver sees people upstairs standing in his periscope he will stop the bus and order them off....
if this happened downstairs they were away from the source of the blast !
[thanx to yooknowhoo for pointing this out to me xx]

does this description fit?
in another account to the press Richard jones is quoted:

He said the bomber was around 6ft tall, in his mid-twenties, clean-shaven and smartly dressed. He kept reaching into the bag at his feet, thrusting his backside towards Richard's face every time.
Richard said: 'I thought he was maybe playing with an iPod. But every time he bent over, he was right in my face. 'He was becoming more and more agitated and kept reaching down but didn't take anything out of the bag.'
The man was wearing hipster-style fawn checked trousers, with exposed designer underwear, and a matching jersey-style top. Richard said: 'The pants looked very expensive, they were white with a red band on top. It's a strange thing to remember but he was right in my face. - sundaymail.co.uk

So, why are the media playing 'conspiracy theorist', why are they using tittle tattle tales from a Scots IT expert who doesn't seem to trust brown faces with nice clothes...

Face of London bus bomber
14/07/2005 - 17:58:04 - Detectives today issued a picture of one of the London suicide bombers as they appealed for public help in tracing his last moments. Hasib Hussain, 18, blew himself up on the number 30 bus in Tavistock Square along with 12 other people. The head of Scotland Yard anti-terrorist branch, Peter Clarke, said police wanted to know what Hussain was doing in the hour after his three fellow bombers blew themselves up on tube trains. They detonated their devices at 8.50am but Hussain did not trigger his bomb until 9.47am. - IOL
Thais hold Algerian for possible London bomb link
Sat Aug 27, 2005 9:49 AM BST - BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thai police are holding an Algerian man arrested this week for passport fraud who may also have a connection to the July 7 London bombings, a senior Thai police official said on Saturday.
Atamnia Yacine, 33, was detained in the Thai capital on Wednesday and faces charges of possessing 180 fake French and Spanish passports and overstaying his visa. The Nation newspaper reported on Saturday that police also suspect Yacine may have supplied fake travel documents used in the London attacks which killed 52 commuters.
Police Major General Suwat Tumrongsiskul said British police had asked for information about Yacine, but declined to comment further on the investigation. "British police want to investigate this man to see whether he has anything to do with the London bombs," Suwat told Reuters.
The forged passports had been sent to the French and Spanish embassies in Bangkok for further examination, Suwat said. Thailand is notorious as a centre for the production and distribution of fake travel documents.
However, police have been under pressure to clamp down on the trade, which security analysts say makes it easier for international militants to hide their identities and travel undetected.
Since when did anyone who was British need travel documents,
like a passport, to travel anywhere in the UK?

Last known movement of men linked to London bombs
12/07/2005 - 18:20:39 - Police today outlined the last known movements of four men linked to the bombings in London. Three of the men were from West Yorkshire and they all met on the journey to the capital last Thursday. They arrived at King's Cross Station just minutes before the explosions, according to Scotland Yard.
Deputy Assistant Commissioner Peter Clarke, of the Anti-Terrorist Branch, said property from three of the men was found at bomb sites but it was unclear whether they all died in the explosions.
He said: "The investigation quite early led us to have concerns about the movements and activities of four men, three of whom come from the West Yorkshire area. "We are trying to establish their movements in the run-up to last week's attack and specifically to establish if they all died in the explosions."
All four of the men arrived in London by train on the morning of Thursday July 7, he said. CCTV footage showed them arriving at King's Cross station shortly before 8.30am. One of the men from West Yorkshire was reported missing to the central casualty bureau by his family shortly after 10am last Thursday. Police confirmed that during the journey to London, he had been joined by the three other men. Mr Clarke said that personal documentation bearing the names of three of the four were found close to the seats of three of the explosions. Property of the man who had been reported missing by his family was found on the number 30 bus in Tavistock Square.
Further property in the name of a second man was found at the scene of the Aldgate bomb. Documents in the name of a third man were found at both the sites of the Aldgate and Edgware Road bombs. Police said there was "very strong forensic and other evidence" that one of the men from West Yorkshire died in the explosion at Aldgate. A vehicle was also found at Luton Station car park. Police did not say whether it played a part in the four suspects' journeys. One man has been arrested in West Yorkshire and will be brought to London to be questioned. - IOL

7/7-so what are the chances of both the Picadilly line and the Northern line being shut down for separate incidents... ?

so what are the chances of both
the Picadilly line and the Northern line being shut down
for separate incidents... ? This in itself is a major occurance
for London underground on a busy morning

after a chat to my source (15 years experience as a leading firefighter, and station officer qualification)
I have established that this alert is very suspect indeed
this is what i was told
bear in mind that this procedure was valid to 1999 when my source left the London Fire Brigade to emigrate

If a suspected fire on the track is reported, fire control will establish a location EG: between 'Station A' & 'Station B'
Trains between the stations would be stopped, and one train would be 'detrained' [emptied of passengers] at either Station 'A' or 'B'
The driver would then take the fire crew on board with basic equipment ...
[because the cause is usually fluff on the line]
and then would drive slowly along the line

The whole process would take at most 20-30 minutes
so what kind of emergency call did the London Fire Brigade 'station control' receive?
which didn't specify an exact location, which closed the line between Cockfosters and Kings Cross
a large stretch of track with 13 stations

And the ENTIRE Northern Line...with over 50 stations out of action?

so why would only the Northern half of the Picadilliy Line be closed...for a 'fire' ...If the ENTIRE Northern Line was closed for a default train?
There is another weird thing: if these two lines were closed due to a terror alert and the lines were actually closed due to al alert recieved by the intelligence services [sic]
why wasn't the ENTIRE circle line closed?
you see, this line would be incredibly useful to a terrorist who could get on from anywhere in the central zone, via any line that connects to it... they could also exit from anywhere from this zone via any line.
If I were a crisis manager and a head of an operation dealing with a possible terror attack, the first thing I would do is close down the CIRCLE LINE [see below in yellow]

can you say 'terror drill' ?... now can you say 'fake terror drill' ?

we are faced with the strange claim that these men, one of whom had a new family, and another whose wife was pregnant, carried bombs set on timers and stood there waiting for them explode.
This makes sense ONLY if they thought they were carrying fake bombs as part of a terror drill. This also explains the nervousness of the man on the bus who had probably just heard of the real explosions and was starting to suspect that the fake bomb he was carrying might not be fake after all.
If these men thought they were committing suicide, why did they buy RETURN TICKETS ON THE TRAIN? Why did they pay for "pay and display" tickets for their cars at the parking area?
"Hey you, Muslim person. Wanna make a hundred pounds? You could use that kind of dough, with a new kid and all. We're running a terror drill, and all you gotta do is take this here harmless backpack with a fake bomb inside to work with you tomorrow, just to see if the subway guards catch you or not. Mum's the word, this is national security and all; you can't tell anyone!"

7/7-Rumour? or Truth?

The story only makes sense if these e-mails to David Ickes site are true

Rumours? Urban Myths?
Correspondence on the London Evening Standard Internet Forum from two people who travelled by tube on the morning of the London bombings:
Hi everyone, Did anyone travelling in BEFORE the attacks began yesterday notice anything peculiar on their tube journey?

I catch the Piccadilly line at 7.15am each morning from Southgate to reach my work in Kensington by 8.00. Normally, all seats are taken by Finsbury Park and carriages are packed by Kings Cross.

However, yesterday my tube journey was eerily quiet. For the first time ever there were spare seats in my carriage all the way through zone 1. It was noticeable enough for me to wonder what on earth was going on. This was at 7.45 - over an hour before attacks began.

I've also heard people saying that the Northern Line was being shut down at the same time. Is there something that we're not being told?

I was due to pick a work colleague up from balham at 7:15am, but when I got there I was greeted with Tube emergency vans, police and and hoards of people being turned away from a closed station. All very strange they must have known something was going to happen, they surely had a tip off. As I drove along the road, (which also follows the tubes) they were all shut and hundreds of people were queuing for buses.
When I reached Oval, which was open there were two armed policemen in a road next to the station, which for a quiet area like that is extremely rare. The northern line was shut from Morden to Stockwell.
They blatantly knew something was going down, they just got it wrong and are hoping no one mentions anything.

Rumour? or Truth? People are waking up... from e-mails sent to David Icke
WHOLE Northern line down

Hi David,

In response to the postings which asked if anyone experienced anything strange on Thursday morning - I got to Clapham North tube (Northern line -same as Kings Cross) and the whole line was down - at 8:15am! Usually there are problems with this line, but in my 4 years in London I cannot last remember when the entire line was shut down. Very strange indeed ...

suspected fire on Picaddily line - closed 8am -

Hi David,

Just wanted to share some thoughts on the bombing of the Piccadilly line with you. The morning of the attack I had overslept by a half hour and was running late for work. I raced down to Arnos Grove station checking my watch as I went, and I had got there at 8:20am.
I was expecting a bollocking at work due to my poor timekeeping but what I was not expecting was an absolute mass of bewildered looking sheeple milling around outside wondering how on earth they were going to get to work on time.

I checked the information board inside the station and posted there at a little past 8:00 was a message informing everyone that there was no service on the Piccadilly line from Cockfosters to Kings Cross as there was a suspected fire!

Now all of this happened before my arrival at 8:20, so my question is what the hell was going from 8 until 8.50 - the time of the bombs detonation? Why was the station closed at that point? Who reported the suspected fire? I guess these are just rhetorical questions because I wouldn't expect an answer from London underground or anyone else for that matter. Hope this is of some interest.

infinite love,

Lorenzo
Picaddily line - closed 8am - Passengers diverted

David,

I am a London bus driver and worked part of Thursday 7th July. I can confirm bus drivers were told just before 8.00am, via radios in their cabs, of a fire alert at Caledonian Road Tube Station on the Piccadilly Line. We were asked to carry passengers in the area and accept thier tickets. This is standard procedure when tube stations close and this sort of request is very much part of our job.

Quite what the 'fire alert' entailed that day is now the key question to be answered. Bus drivers were then told at 8.30am approx that honouring the tickets no longer applied. Back to normal. The fateful train to Russell Square would have passed through Caledonian Road not long after this.

The next stop on the Piccadilly Line southbound after Caledonian Road tube station is Kings Cross and then Russell Square. Closure of Caledonian Road due to a 'fire' would have also caused closures back up the line, as the Arnos Grove Station account on your website demonstrates. There would of course been a build up of people as well. This meant that from 8.30am approx and for some time after there would have been an even more concentration of people going in and out of Kings Cross and along other lines than normal.

I will try and get some thoughts together on one or two other matters.

Policeman gives warning...Troops storm office building...

Good afternoon David.

Firstly, thank you for your efforts in bringing us the information you have on your site and your dedication to uncovering the agenda. I have a friend who works in the retail industry and as you would imagine, the topic of conversation with customers has very much been on the subject of the London bombings. He had a couple of interesting stories relayed to him, which tell as follows.

1. One chap was entering Kings Cross when a policeman came running out in front of him. The officer told him to get away quick, as a bomb was about to go off. 30 seconds later, he heard an explosion. How did the policeman know?

2. An office worker in the city was present when army officials burst into the building and told everyone to get down. They proceeded to guard the building and not let anyone out. This office worker was able to look up and see the army pointing guns at a chap outside the door and taking him away.

The troops then left as quickly as they had arrived.

I found these stories to be of interest, as they don't appear anywhere in the media and nor are they likely to. I would very much like other people to know these stories.

Regards

How Independent is Indymedia?

Under the topic of Repression, a member of Indymedia whose nym is Bullshit-Detector posted on 13.12.2005 the following article with the heading NO PUBLIC ENQUIRY FOR 7/7 BOMBINGS:

Clarke rules out July 7 inquiry

There will be no public inquiry into the July 7 terrorist atrocities in London, the Home Office has confirmed.

A spokesperson said: "The Government is not proposing to hold a public inquiry into the events of July 7."

The BBC have reported that the government will instead publish a report based upon information from police and the security services, and civil servants. All very suspicious. It has been denounced by the Muslim association of Britain.

For a more valid intepretation of what happened on 7/7/05, here are some good sources of information:
http://bridgetdunnes.blogspot.com/
www.officialconfusion.com

This article was subsequently 'hidden' on the grounds that it breached Indymedia UK's editorial guidelines.

The editorial guidelines are:
The Independent Media Centre (IMC/Indymedia) UK is an open-publishing platform for news, issues, actions and analysis reporting on grassroots, non-corporate, non-commercial social justice, environmental and political issues. IMC UK is maintained by a network of media activists and groups. IMC stands for Independent media center, UK stands for United Kollektives.

Does it strike anyone else that censorship of an article posted under Repression that has a link to this blog is in itself repressive?
