II. Once Upon a Time...
Once upon a time, there was a building called WTC7, and then it went away. And, it didn't even spill onto adjacent streets.

Figure 34. Why is WTC1 lathering up? And why is WTC7 also lathering up? This is Church and Reade, looking southward. It appears that WTC2 was just destroyed as the street is not yet coated with powder. Later photos of this area show a fine whitish dust coating the street. (9/11/01) Source: | Figure 35. WTC7 Lathering up, along with WTC1. WTC1 is still standing, so "debris from the collapse of WTC1" cannot explain why there is "smoke" pouring out of WTC7. The two people on the far corner appear to be stopping traffic, which is consistent with what would be seen immediately after the destruction of WTC2. (9/11/01) Source: more |
